Wasp nest treatment
Professional wasp nest treatment for homes, landlords and businesses, with clear advice and a quotation before any work starts.

Wasp nests grow quickly through the summer and can hold thousands of wasps by late season. Nests in lofts, eaves, wall cavities, sheds or bushes can make a garden unusable and pose a real risk to anyone allergic to stings.
We treat the nest with a professional insecticide so that activity stops, usually within a day or so. Our technicians wear the right protective equipment, so you do not need to go near the nest.
Signs to look out for
- Wasps flying in and out of one point on a roof, wall or air brick
- A papery grey nest in a loft, shed or hedge
- Chewing sounds inside walls or ceilings
- Increased wasp numbers around the house
How we deal with it
Assessment
We locate the nest and check access, including any need for ladders or extension equipment.
Treatment
We apply insecticide directly into or at the entrance of the nest.
Aftercare
Keep away from the area for the time we advise. Returning wasps will contact the treatment and the nest will die off.
We do not treat honey bees. If you are not sure whether you have wasps or bees, send us a photo and we will advise. See our bee advice page.
Questions about wasp nest treatment
Do you remove the nest?
The nest does not usually need removing once treated, as wasps do not reuse old nests. If removal is needed for a specific reason, we can discuss it.
Is it an emergency?
If a nest is next to a door, a child's room or someone with a sting allergy, call us and we will treat it as urgent.
