Information we collect

Contact details: your name, telephone number, email address and the address and postcode of the property.
Job details: the pest problem, property type, location of the problem, preferred dates, access information, photos you send us, and whether children or pets are present so that we can plan a safe treatment.
Service records: quotations, appointments, treatments carried out, products used, follow-up visits, invoices and payments.
Communications: emails, WhatsApp messages and notes of phone calls.
Website data: basic technical information needed to run the website securely, and your cookie choices.

We do not ask for health information. Please do not include it in forms unless it is needed to keep someone safe during treatment, in which case we will use it only for that purpose.

How and why we use it

To respond to enquiries and provide quotations: to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
To book, deliver and follow up our services, take payment and keep treatment records: to perform our contract with you.
To keep accounting and tax records and meet our legal obligations: legal obligation.
To ask you for a review after a job and to improve our service: our legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time.
To load optional third-party content such as maps: your consent, which you can change at any time through cookie settings.

We will only send marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, under appropriate contracts, including:

Netlify, which hosts this website and processes form submissions
Google Workspace, for business email
Jobber, our job management system, used to manage enquiries, quotations, appointments, jobs and invoices
Xero, for accounting
Monzo Bank Ltd and its card payment partner Stripe, which process card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments
WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us that way

We may also share information where required by law, for example with HMRC or the police.

International transfers

Some of our providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months.
Customer, job and treatment records: 6 years after the end of the financial year in which the last job was completed, to meet tax and legal requirements.
Cookie choices: up to 12 months, after which we will ask again.

Keeping it secure

We use secure, password-protected systems with two-factor authentication where available, encrypted website connections (HTTPS) and access limited to people who need it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability in some cases.
