Mouse control
Professional mouse control for homes, landlords and businesses, with clear advice and a quotation before any work starts.

House mice can squeeze through a gap the width of a pencil. Once inside they nest in wall cavities, under kitchen units and in lofts, and they contaminate food and surfaces as they move.
Mouse activity often rises in autumn and winter as mice look for warmth. We treat the activity and, just as importantly, find and block the routes they are using.
Signs to look out for
- Small dark droppings, about the size of a grain of rice
- Nibbled food packaging in cupboards
- Scratching sounds in ceilings or behind kitchen units
- Shredded paper or insulation used as nesting
- A musty smell in cupboards or under appliances
How we deal with it
Inspection
We locate nesting areas and runs, and check pipe entries, air bricks, door gaps and service voids.
Treatment
We use traps or secured bait stations depending on the situation, with the safety of your household and pets in mind.
Follow-up
We return to monitor progress and adjust the treatment until activity has stopped.
Proofing
We seal gaps behind kitchen units, around pipes and at other entry points using wire wool, mesh and sealants suitable for rodents.
Keep food in sealed containers, clean up crumbs behind appliances and avoid leaving pet food out overnight while treatment is under way.
Questions about mouse control
Can mice come back after treatment?
They can if entry points stay open, which is why proofing is part of our approach. We will point out any gaps we find and quote to seal them.
Do you treat mice in flats and HMOs?
Yes. In shared buildings, mice often travel between units, so we may advise treating communal areas as well. See our landlord and HMO page.
